Building a Larger Foundation for the Future…
In 2019 we set out our strategy for growth which included the construction of a larger manufacturing facility in the UK, increased warehousing capacity in the US and extending our manufacturing and warehousing facility in India.
The past year has been difficult for many businesses including Slingco in trying to maintain a continued level of customer service and at the same time ensure they have sufficient stocks to be able to meet the demand. To date, we have now completed the US and India phase of our development and our new manufacturing facility in the UK will be fully operational in March 2021.
For over 40 years we have built our reputation in providing a quality product and service to thousands of valued customers who have loyally supported our business over this period. So, we would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their kind words and patience. Our range of pulling & support grips are designed to cover many applications especially within the renewable and subsea markets. With greater manufacturing capacity and increased inventory, we are now able to manage large volume projects and provide faster availability, from our extensive range on offer.

Sales Director Ian Harrison explained: “The world today is now looking more than ever towards Renewable Energy in particular wind to support the demand for more sustainable power. We have seen in the past few years an increase in the number of wind towers per field, larger turbines, and more recently floating structures to push these farms further offshore. Our strategy for growth over the next 3 years will enable us to maintain our status as the leading cable pulling grip supplier to the Wind Energy and Subsea market. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of grip development and seeing more bespoke designs than ever to meet the demand from our valued customers. Project timelines are decreasing and so we are seeing a greater requirement for faster deliveries. We have made huge investment within our new facility which will, as we grow, help in creating new jobs and supporting the local community.”
Having previously won this prestige award back in 2016, We have again been recognised for our outstanding work globally and have recently received the “Queens Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2020” for a second time in January of this year.
